New Project for Fall!

The inspiration for these hooked pumpkins came from a past photo from Kelley Belfast's blog.  I loved the idea of 3D hooked pumpkins for great primitive decorating, so I decided to draw up my own version!

They are small - the largest is approx. 7" x 4" and the others are approx. 4 1/2" to 5 1/2"  x 3".  I love the primitive look (more subtle in person).  I used both hand dyed wools and as-found wools in #8 cut.  The "stems" are tree branches from my own back yard.  They are filled with fiberfill and the backs are done in another primitive orange wool.

Now I can't wait for Autumn to decorate with my pumpkins!

Have a great weekend!
