Decatur Hook In Pictures

I was able this month to go for the first time to a hook in  at Decatur, which is a little over an hour from my home.  A sweet lady named Virginia has been emailing me about this hook in, which is held the first two Tuesdays of each month.  Another friend, Lou Ann and I had been trying to attend for about three months, and finally got everything working together to go this time!  It was so much fun.  The ladies are very talented.

The above runner is HUGE.  Virginia is hooking this runner to use on the floor in front of her dresser, so it is the same size as the dresser!  It is beautiful in person.

The lady who is hooking this rug is an artist, and she is hooking this as a request from her daughter.  It will be placed in the bathroom, as you may be able to guess by the shape of the rug!  Her daughter is a horse lover.

This beautifully primitive floral is being hooked by Millie for a footstool top.  Love the colors.

Kay is hooking a handbag covered with flowers and adorable sheep.  I'm so happy to have become part of this group and will post their wonderful rug pictures as often as I can.

Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Linda

  3. Hi Linda - Thanks for sharing these pictures - that first rug is so fun - I love the house in the center! And the color combo of the chair pad is unusual with the green background and color combo. Glad you got to go, but you forgot to show us YOUR project!
