Potpourri...

Not much new hooking to share yet.  Between babysitting, going over to my Mom's and a slip on a rug, resulting in re-injuring my right shoulder, I've not made much progress on my Posy Pony rug.  I have begun to hook the background behind and around the horse and like the color choices (except possibly one).  My granddaughters were here all this week since their Spring break did not coincide with their mother's Spring break.  We've been having fun together, and I think an outing to Chuck E. Cheese's is on the calendar for tomorrow!

The above rug is my adaptation of an antique rug I saw in a book many years ago.  It is approx. 17" X 12 1/2".

I am in the mood to clean, but with my shoulder issues, I haven't done much in that dept. either.  It is amazing how much I rely on my right arm to do everything...

The town wide garage sale is coming up on April 18, and even though I have sworn to never have another, I'm planning to have another :0)  I already have a ton of "stuff" in a corner of the basement ready to price...MUST get that done.

On April 20 is the Annual Bishop Hill Hook-In, and I am already paid up and ready to go!  Sally Kallin (Pine Island Primitives) will be the vendor again this year, and I'm sooooo looking forward to spending the day just hooking and seeing the great rugs and the wool.  I can't wait.  I will take pictures and post as many as I can.  It is a wonderful place for a hook-in and Sally Kallin is a great  choice for vendor.

I'm still not able to spend as much time as I want reading your interesting blogs and seeing your wonderful rug hooking projects.  Mom is losing ground weekly and her care comes first.  I would appreciate your prayers for her and for my sisters and me as we try to make it possible for her to stay in her own home as long as possible.  My youngest sister, Saundra, lives with Mom now and the stress is especially hard on her.  Thank you.

Hope your weekend is wonderful.  The weather here is finally spring-like...I want to plant flowers!
