This is the Bishop Hill Old Colony School. Bishop Hill was first settled in 1846 by Swedish immigrants seeking religious freedom. Erik Jansson, their spiritual leader, along with his followers built a successful communal society which prospered for fifteen years before disbanding in 1861. Many of the structures from that time still exist in the area. It was a perfect setting for a day of rug hooking!
I'm sorry that I was unable to get every one's name, but this lady's rug was fantastic! This rear view of the sheep was very well done!
The lady behind the Wendy Miller design is Vicki Hardcastle of The Hogscald Holler Blog . She used beautiful rich colors (which my disposable camera did not show well...aaarrrggghhh) in this gorgeous rug.

Sally Kallin of Pine Island Primitives was the vendor for the hook-in, and she brought a ton of beautiful wool and lots of patterns. I purchased one of her larger patterns, and cannot wait to get started on the hooking! Here are some of her beautiful creations:
