Rug Progress and a Giveaway!!!
I know it doesn't look like much progress, but this rug is so large that it is a good bit of progress, esp. for a slow hooker! Color choices for this rug have been perplexing for me...I generally like dark backgrounds, but with the dark horse color, I had to go lighter. Now comes the decision about flower colors and the background colors for the next phase right around this center oval. Hoping to make faster progress this month.
It has been a long time since I've had a giveaway, so I am planning to give away six patterns. These patterns are varied as to what they feature, so there should be one of interest to everyone!
Each time I post patterns for giveaway, just leave a comment on the post (be sure to request the pattern you are interested in) and I will choose random winners from those who comment. Good luck!
First Giveaway:
Great pieced tote from Rosebud's Cottage.
Wearable art!
Have a great day.

Stitchery for the Season is so cute. How nice of you to offer a give away.
ReplyDeleteLove the color variation in the horse on your rug. It will be fun to watch your progress. I was drawn to the tote bag pattern...I'm a scrapper!
ReplyDeleteGreat start on this rug - I see no reason why you can't switch to a dark background when you start hooking the next 'ring' or border - this is going to be awesome!
