Here is a picture of the progress so far on my rug. I've really been enjoying hooking this rug. I like the colors and the way it is turning out up to this point. I will hopefully finish the main design areas tonight and start on the background. I may add something in the border, too. I think it might need a little more around the edges...we'll see!
Had to go shopping today and my feet are letting me know about it. I can't seem to find good walking/shopping shoes where I live...does anyone know who makes such a shoe? I'm beginning to doubt their existence!

very cute so far...I have a hard time with shoes too but I wear Dansko clogs-pricey but they have somewhat of an arch...

I have so many uncomfortable shoes, but the best I had was a pair of Born's that I wore until they fell apart. I also had a very comfy pair of Clark clogs that I also wore until they died...lol!

Linda, I'm lovin' the rug so far. Went shopping at the vendor area of the Rug Hooking show yesterday. I didn't even have time to walk through the show :( Got several neat pieces of wool and started a different design last night! I know - that big one I started just has me intimidated. ~Ann

I also wear mainly just Clarks. They are the only shoe I ever bought that I didn't have to "break" in.

Thank you all for the kind words and the comfy shoe advice! I have had Clarks shoes in the past that I lived in because they were comfortable...I may have to look into the current styles. Shoes are such a challenge, aren't they?
