Rug Pix

These are more pictures from the Wendy Miller Hook-In in Indiana a few weeks ago. I think this rug was a Barb Carroll design. ***OOPS! I need to make a correction on this rug. Bev Cole, the lady who was hooking this beautiful rug contacted me to tell me that this is actually an Emma Lou Lais pattern called "Old Saltbox with Willow Trees." Bev is also the talented lady who created the mini wool quilt frame cover two pictures down. I loved the idea and the finished cover!! Thanks to Bev for sharing her creations and for contacting me about Emma Lou's pattern. The beautiful cat rug shown below the mini quilt was hooked by a gracious lady named Barb Hoffman. Wonderful rug, Barb! You inspired me.***
This is one of Wendy Miller's rugs.

This was a cover for a hooking frame that caught my eye. The woman who had made it designed this mini-quilt in colorful wools for her frame. The cat rug below was a Barb Carroll design that an attendee had adapted by making a mirror image of the cat and creating a two-cat rug. It was absolutely beautiful. The colors were very vibrant, which usually is not appealing to me, but this rug was gorgeous.

This last picture was the rug pattern that everyone received in their gift bag. It is called "A Cup of Spring," and this particular one was Wendy's project during the hook-in.
Sorry for taking so long to add these last pictures, but we've been sooooo busy with school activities and recitals and meetings at church for the past two weeks. I have literally been gone from home for two weeks!
Have a great week!
