Merry Christmas...pictures!!

I hope you and your families have a blessed Christmas with lots of time to visit and have fun just being together.  We will hosting one dinner and gift opening evening on Christmas Eve with our children and grandchildren, and then going to church and to my sister's house for another family gathering on Christmas morning.

I'm thankful for having most of my family close enough to see often.  My brother and his family live near Birmingham, AL so we will miss seeing them.  There will be phone calls, however!

A Wonderful Day!

Twin girls are coming in March!!  Actually my nephew and his wife are expecting twin girls the first week in March, and we had a baby shower yesterday.  I love baby showers and this one was perfect!  Of course, everything was PINK!

You can see from the picture that the cake was especially adorable.  I didn't get a good picture of the top of the little blocks on top of the cake, but they were cake squares decorated with  tiny little pink footprints....waaaaay cute!

There were also little cupcakes with tiny baby bottles, pacifiers, and diapers (all made of fondant)!  We played some cute games and talked a lot.  My sister and brother-in-law are excited soon-to-be-first time grandparents, and they really hosted a wonderful family gathering in celebration of the two sweet little blessings who will come in the Spring.

It was a wonderful day.
